MISSION STATEMENT

My intent is to use magic effects and/or illusions to demonstrate Christian truths in an interesting format. The reason for selecting this art form is rather simple, as a Christian I understand my responsibility to tell others about our Savior. Life is full of illusions and deceptions and we must learn to distinguish between reality and illusions. Satan uses deception to convince us that everything that is earthly is good and we are free to enjoy without fear or consequence.

This was not done hastily or without thought and prayers for direction and guidence. A number of years ago I became a member of the Fellowship of Christian Magicians. I soon realized that most standard magic effects can be used to present spiritual truths. Additionally, I have purchased some specialized Gospel magic equipment and have "scripted" some of my effects for a Gospel routine. I recently became a member of the Christian Creative Arts Association. Recently, I have been attending a clowning class, conducted by a professional clown. I feel the humor of clowning possibly combined with magic is another vehicle for presenting gospel messages.

As a Christian entertainer, I am dedicated to sharing the Good News and to the advancement of His church and to this end, using magic effects or illusions to present or illustrate the Gospel.

I am a member of the Hope Community Church of Lawrenceburg/Frankfort. I retired from Kentucky state government with about thirty-four years service. Over the last few years I have performed for several Boy Scout events, social and professional clubs, state youth facilities, various holiday functions, senior citizens groups, charitable organizations, and of course churches. My program can be varied to be of interest to all age groups. Secular programs are available.
